Christiana Estrada, a former supermodel, after a divorce battle with her billionaire ex-husband; Saudi businessman Sheikh Walid Juffali, has been awarded £53M to meet her standard needs.

The former supermodel had initially wanted £196M including £1M a year on clothes.

Estrada was cross-examined on her needs in court which she said included:

  • £60M to afford a luxury home in london
  • A £4.4M countryside home in Henley-on-Thames
  • £495K for five cars
  • £109K for haute couture dresses
  • £40K a year for fur clothes
  • £21K a year on shoes 

Ms Estrada was married to Mr Juffali for 13 years and has been based in the UK since 1988. She said her focus now is to support her daughter and move forward with their lives.

The court has ordered Mr Juffali to pay Ms Estrada her lump sum by 29 July, 2016.
