Wales enjoyed a fantastic spell in the Euro 2016 as they ended up getting knocked out by Portugal. Gareth Bale has been in top form right from the kick-off of the tournament and the game against Portugal was no different.

The Wide man for Wales and Real Madrid had five shots forcing three saves. Could it be said that Gareth Bales effort for the team wasn’t enough? Or Cristiano Ronaldo and his team were simply the better side.

Cristiano Ronaldo being the first player to play in three Euro semi-finals (2004, 2012, 2016) out shined Gareth Bale in the match by coming away with a goal and almost even scoring the second. He was also named the man on the match.

We will eager to see if he can perform this well in the final coming up on sunday at the Stade de France stadium in Paris.

Wales since 2015 has failed to win any of their four games without the Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

This was Portugal first win in Euro 2016. Let’s see if they can go all the way through to this major international title.
